The Cats Arrived

My new boat has arrived at Drivers......
Went down to see her today to see if she needed anything didnt have a clue what she needed, looked good to me (but what do I know) spent most of the afternoon peeling the Old Name off ready to accept the new name Aquaholic, filled her up with petrol (notice the refrence to "Her") BLODDY HELL £275 pounds later (Thats where the "Her" came from).

Can't make it down this weekend as thought as im taking some clients to the France/All Blacks game in Cardif (why does work always come first) but next weekend its going to be the maiden voyage.
Haven't worked out how Gareth is going to manage to fit the strops yet to lift her into the water but I recon he's more clued up on those sort of things than I am.

Looking forward to all of the "Sarky" comments and if your reading this "Motivator" My boat will wipe the floor with your GIN PALACE - Hows the engine rebuilds going me old shipmate ????

PFFT either needs some proper engines or it don't go very far

Oh yea of little faith. Up early this morning and back out by 7.15a.m. wiv new belts blowing the cobwebs (vodka) out.

Handed over to the youngster at 3.00 p.m. to let him scare his new bit of fluff. and went to play rebuilding drives on the sunny ready for the new engines in a couple of weeks.

You didn't let them have the first text i.e. pitch black, 4ft chop, giving it billy big bollox and the bloody steering belt lets go mid flight. Interesting landing to say the least and one slightly pissed off labrador giving me filthy looks for the rest of the night

Gordon,

I'm normally southend / burnham based but will bring her down when Pash1 gets his latest toy out. I couldn't miss it for the world.

M
I feel a poker run coming on

Engines should be back sometime next week at which point I shall sign over all my worldly worth and explain to the wife the pros and cons of eating beans on toast for the coming six months versus having a toy or two on the water

The other matter isn't that bad they are dribbling it out to me slowly but surely.
