As with a most if not all ex race boats there are signs of repairs. This was obviously one of the weak points, was the same on the blu-fin so I knew where to look. Nicly repaired but put another layer over the top after I ground it off just to be sure, quite pleased came out well.
Was the same both sides so I suspect in later boats this was built in

See from the question in Tech got the plate moving at last now time to pull it off & to bits.
Should still be on my ghantt chart for the end of the week for the full stip and repairs. Latter I have underestimated a bit. Had to scarf in a little patch on the rh side today. Previous damage but was very clumsy the way it was finished. Get a pic up after kiddie feeding time

Finished off the repairs to the Pt side pod & gave it a quick blow over on the underside will do the rest with the boat.
I'm now looking forward to cuting a 100 anchor plates and tapping them. not

At last got to the Air Saw.Rear Nav station & table removed, still thing about removing the top section or not, bottom bit is structural so that will stay, will add stiffning to the side which is a little wobbly at the moment

Added a stiffy or 4 well 6 actually

Laminated up my own stiffeners during the week fixed em yesterday. and gave it a bit extra with a glass over today.
First time I have done any stinky sticky glass work... really enjoyed it.

Mental note buy gloves next time, gonna be picking this shite off for days

3 layers widest at the bottom reducing the overlap but 1/4 each layer, ??????????? I was guessing but did it like a boeing scab patch repair
