The Question is.....

...I'd like to ask the American & other foreign members here, specifically the racing orientated ones, is there room on the US boating forums scene for a more international forum for boaters/racers?

OSO is awesome, but I find the 'general' membership are pretty uninterested on the rest of the world, and what's happening in it.
This is fine, as I understand that the scene there is so huge, that they hardly need to look beyond their shores.

However, quite a few do seem interested, but the topics get quickly piled under gazilions of threads about local stuff.

Taking a lead from JK who's recently added a 'North America' section to RIBnet, I'm thinking of starting another (separate) forum aimed at America/Worldwide, in contrast to this site which is clearly European orientated, with US guests.

Would it work? Is it worth trying?

Or maybe:

Or even:

Or maybe even:

Your opinions please.

If it's "worldwide", why call it Boatmad America? Is that just to pander to the septics' tendencies towards global domination?

Think it's a great idea (but I would think that wouldn't I?). Also very much like the 'new improved' Boatmad.

And dear Mr. Rocket, as everyone knows, "we are the world".

I think OSO works over there and Boatmad works here, period. Between the two, and the up and coming H20 downunder, I think most corners of the globe are covered................
