He may, or may not have mellowed, but either thinks the making of 'our video' was dangerous, or doesn't.
Going by the reaction at the time, he thinks it was, and that his judgement & sense are of a 'superior' nature.

90mph in ANY type of small open boat is risky, anyone who thinks it isn't quite simply doesn't know, or understand the concept.

Taking very young kids out in such a boat is clearly puting them in harms way. That is his choice, and would be fine, if he hadn't publically (on a US forum) voiced his opinion on my conduct, especially when the only person I put 'in harms way' in our video, was myself.

As I say, Double standards.

As long as the RIB aint a splash, I couldn't give a shit.

I was only joking about the RIB. I would not wish a RIB on anyone. ( well OK Mr Brown deserves a RIB, but no one else really! )

well Is still think you went far too close nobba!

A man of your age, with all the pending ailments such as the (already set-in) altziemers, arthritis & IBS really shouldn't be out power boating anyway!

I reckon a nice Moody 30 is a bit of you!

If you mean 'moody' as in car dealer speak, I thought they only made the 28 & 33.

However I more envisaged you with a few deck boys aboard the good-ship "Ginger Nudgepot"........ they'd be polishing your brass; you'd be combing your beard.......... I reckon you'd be in your element Skip!

How does my calculated & completely aware 'closeness' compare to your own completely unaware & clueless 'close pass' compare?

Yours of course being the the near contact with the portion of the Isle of Wight known to us 'boaters' as Bembridge ledge.

Had I had a misshap, at least I would have known what it was that I hit!!
