Tintorera 20
What do you want to know? It is an original tint 20 ( 20ft not 21ft ) built in 1994. It last raced in 2002 when Sharon Atlee drove it with an xr2 on the back, unfortunatley it only did two races before a previous repair ( rear right corner) broke and the transom pulled out. The boat then hung in some blokes workshop as some sort of trophy before appearing on ebay eariler this year sitting on a trailer that was for sale. The Tint is still a very good boat, but this one would need a lot of work to get in back to its true glory. I personally wouldn't pay anywhere near what is being asked. As my profile pic shows the original colour was white / red hull with a white deck, and the picture was taken in Guernsey 94 on its way to its maiden victory.

I dont know to much about the Tintorera hulls, but what I have learned from others has always been positive.
A 1.3 liter engine seems like it would be under powered for a 20ft hull. Does any one have any performance # for this hull, with verious engine combanations?
Also people seem to reguard them as very good handeling boats, how do they compear to say a 19ft phantom hull?
I must say they have very nice lines.

Tintorera 20
Is was thinking less than that!!!
As for its performance and handling, its excellent on both counts. Raced one at Folkestone at the weekend with a 90hp Yam on the back, we won all of our races in that class, and were in front of some 2 litre boats as well. Compared to the 19 Phantom i would say it is better, but then i'm just a little bias.

ok sounds good. What performance #s are you geting with the Yam 90hp? Is it a stock engine?
Do you know how much a bear hull weights?

Hi TEAM-ATS
I notice you run a 21ft Tintorera with a 1.3 liter engine, and have been a successful competitor.
How do you like the hull? Is it very predictable? What kind of speeds I can expect with the 1.3 liter engine?
Lastly have you tried a 130hp engine? If so what kind of performance?

20' Tintorera
I have run the Tintorera with a 90 Yamaha, 130 Yamaha and an XR2!
Been running the Tint for quite a few years now and I really like it, quick hull in rough or flat conditions.
