Bloody Marvelous.
Glad to see my licence / entry fees being spent wisely!
How many RYA officials are out there at our expense?
One hopes hands aren't going to held out this coming season for increases as that will be hard to swallow having seen how they spend it.

The real scandal is the fact that they have flown out to Australia in the first place, I've been told that as well as Puddifoot and Manchester, 2 others from the UK have gone as well. I'd be interested in seeing the bill for that little lot!

That's a bit harsh, after a busy year Gary and his pals deserve nothing less than a short bit of R&R in a budget hotel, half way round the world. It's not like the pool is anything thing special, and it's only 28c out there at the moment!!!

I think you'll find it's the Sports Council who pay for UK representation internationally - and yes, Jim's right - it's naive to think otherwise.

Try telling that to Gordon Sutherland. The Italian who got the Formulae Committee Chairmans job wasn't even at the GA.
