Marco - the Castoldi boat was the sister boat to Enfield Avenger/Unowot/Uno Embassy etc!! (both 37´long). Blu-Fin is right about the 33´ hull which in order of paintschemes was Miss Enfield II, Yellowdrama, Blitz, British Buzzard, LPW. (There may have been other colours/owners inbetween - my memory is fading!!) All I know is that if I had a magic wand and could materialise one classic hull for my exclusive use (!), I wouldn´t be able to decide between the Cig 36, Bertram 38 or Shead 37!! If only I had that problem!!

I think it is one and the same was a really a test bed for the Miss Embassy or was it the other way round
One missing on the name list Enfield Avenger, Pobjoy Mint it's last encarnation. Looking at Miss Embassy you really see the lines of the next in the series Follet Cars, Double Two Shirts, Maco, Ballerina, Brut, xxxxxxx ( missing one name or two in there). Was it an BBM Omelette at some point as well.

Cougar 23' Ex Catapult which the Davey Brothers run with a volvo at first then replaced it with a nice big wooping big block, that made a huge difference. Then onto Iain & Rob. There was a sistership floating about Miss Gurnsey but never really see the race circuit full time, jeeez this was Cougar were in Hounslow .........

Sorry Nigel. I made a big mistake.....

Anyone know where are now Enfield Avenger and....Castoldi?

I think you're right about the Planetec. 42' wasn't it? Again this was another boat hired by Doxford for the South American series, so I was told a while back!!!

Split - you have a lot of names there! I'd forgotten how many liveries those Planatec hulls had experienced! In fact does anybody out there know how many were actually made?? BBM Omelette Planatec was ABO, which apparently stood for Another Bloody Omelette. THe only other name missing from your list was Thunderbird - driven by Richard Benge I think. And MArco, on another thread here somewhere you'll find I asked the same question about Enfield Avenger/Unowot etc - somebody says it ended up in Gibraltar after being involved in some midnight runs across the straits with either ciggies or drugs. It may even still be down there? And I think you are right about the Castoldi jet boat - as far as I can recall it never raced in the UK - I only knew of it's existence about 5 months ago. But Flying Fish is the man with the knowledge about all things Shead! (He's probably busy writing his own 'bible' as we speak....!) Come on FF - if we have got any facts wrong please put us right!!!
