Turbines Turbines Turbines

I know I´ve mentioned these in another thread somewhere, but what happened to (and has anybody got any pictures of?) the following:-

Miss Embassy (later the black sleek Breathless?)
Passing Cloud
Black & White Whiskey
Marlboro Enfield

etc etc etc. When you think about it the Brits were years ahead of other nations with the interest in Turbines - it would be fantastic to bring a racing class back me thinks........

There was an article on the boat & it's set up /story yonks ago cant remember if it was MBY or Powerboat & Watersking. Right down to how the motor was transported by taking the front seat out of the car of the day - If you push me, think it mentioned it too be an MG

Just found this one. Circa 1974ish. Taken from Durlston Head.

Great shot! What a beautiful boat - Don Shead´s idea of incorporating the turbine exhaust into the overall shape was genius!

Here is how the Outerlimits looks under the hatch. With the exhaust coming out under the swim platform, you can actually have a conversation in the cockpit without even yelling.
This boat has a full cabin and weighs in at almost 20,000lbs and we have seen 132mph GPS

Hi Scott!

How's it going - hope it's not too cold over there! Are you going to Miami for the boat show?
