U.I.M. Classes

For those of us who do not have a U.I.M. handbook could someone please explain the classes T1 to T3 and S1 to S3, trying to find out which boat/engine combination is which for Round Britain.

I have a UIM handbook, and it is not as helpful as you think it is!!

It's also on the uim website, but as Mr Lennon notes, not the easiest thing to use.

Sorry, only just caught up with your thread. go into the uim web site, into the Rules section, choose Pleasure and Navigation (yes I know but there you go) and scan down to page 97. Half way down that page is says Tourism Category and Classes. It all really starts on pages 98 & 99. All is then explained.
Any problems or questions PM me. Maybe I should scan that info in and put it on the web site?
