Found this floating around in the Gulf by Sanibel Harbour Yacht Club.
Seems Discovery channel were filming it.

Using WIG effect but using drive from the water interesting,
How did it run?

Here is an early model from Hoverwing using WIG air driven prop

Looks great fun

They said its good for 80 knots but from what I seen I would say i was doing say 50+. It looked good up on plane, but there seemed to be a lot of spray from the foils indicating it had a lot of wet area when running.

They did say that the boat was still in development and needs a lot of fine tuning.

The sea is flat when they were running their tests. They said 3 meter waves..... Also they claim over 100 miles an hour with the new engine, but I dont see it.

Dampners look interesting.. ( modification for the bladerunner ? )

Does not appear to be a classic wig, more like a cat?
