Union Jack
Does anyone know where I could pick up a couple of union jacks for the stern quarters of my P21, like the older race boats.

It is not a union jack unless it is flown from the jack staff on a warship. Otherwise it is known as the union flag!!!!!!!!

Mine was just done by the same fella who did the vinyl cutting for the name. I'm sure any sign shop will have a suitable file, even over there.
(before anyone says it, I know my Union Flag isn't quite right.)

Thanks all, Just checked and it will need to be about 36cm deep, leaving a fair gap top and bottom.

If you want the correct layout, I can supply it. Most people just print it like they think it should look, and not correctly. ( jf !! )

Out of interest, why do the driver's names on the sides of raceboats have a union flag next to the name rather than a red ensign? (Obviously for British drivers!) I always thought that if you were a British citizen in command of a vessel then you flew the red ensign? Just curious.

Hi Burnett,
I believe that If the vessel is registered in the Uk / British isles, it must show the ensign.
