Are you guys considering a shakedown in the Brass Monkey as it's just down the road so to speak and it seems it needs all the support they can get to go ahead and the sound of those Ilmors will be great in the bay

It would of been great to hear those Ilmore's across the bay, no doubt it would of brought a smile to many Boatmader's faces in what has been a bit of a chilly winter so far ... did not imagine it would get cancelled for lack of entries, I thought it would be bad weather like last year to have put the boot in,
had assumed their would be 3ish V24, 3ish 200hp and a couple of Honda's plus perhaps a few Marathon runners and maybe even that Phantom wanting to do a bit of pre-season testing but it seems not, perhaps this bad weather has caught most people out and they do not have their boats ready yet for racing and if so could not the BM be re'-scheduled for mid/late March

Yep, Garmin has a pair of 502's. Were originally injected 575 Chiefs, now rebuilt with holley carbs.
Peter Unwin is fitting out a Hunton XRS 39 (same hull basically) with Ilmors. Build thread in General boating section. As you say can't wait to hear them!
