What do I do with it now?
A couple of years ago my son turned up with this boat. The idea was to 'do it up'. He rubbed it down stripped the paint off and started rebuilding the inside.
He now lives with his girl friend and has lost all interest in the boat. Its in a sorry state now and still in our front garden.
Before I get rid of it somehow I would like to know what it is. Does anyone recognise the shape.
Oh and if anybody recognises it as their old boat and wants it back... I can pm my address.

Thanks Troels L, I to thought it was a Shakesreare at first but their boats have a snubbed nose, whereas our boat has a very pointed bow.
As my son picked it up from Ford near Littlehampton I wondered if it could be a Fonda, but I cannot find out anything about these boats built in Worthing in the 1970/1980's

So thats two of us plumbing for an Invicta then.
Final bit of the puzzle from a 1974 powerboat & watersking mag
make your own minds up looks pretty close to me.
(See the Hull is a lot old than most think, the 4.5 IMHO is a Marina Splash deep down)
Edit: I'd leave it where it is !!! the granchildren can have it to play with in a couple of years, you could stick in the tree and tell em Noah left it there !!!!

There was one running in Class IV 73-74 ish, lime green. Didn't quite have the legs to mix it with the Picton but did have a place or two....... cant recall any more than that

When I was very, very young I remember someone had a Jupiter 5.0 at a slipway my father used in Kent. It was bright red, powered by a 110 straight six Merc and towed by a matching Jenson Interceptor Mk III. Lovely!
