Hi saw the reference to JCB - the base std engine is unique to JCB for and designed by Ricardo in Shoreham.

That is just one of there engines and I ask what is the basic block

they fit ford and perkins in there digger

On the 22nd Aug, JCB diesel max did it, now the worlds fastest diesel, Andy green set a new FIA international record at 328.767mph...........eat yer heart out Michael schumacher

Dont think your boat has to go quite that quick to win a race though

Good for them, those engines sound something very special, at least the Brits lead the world in something!. It will be interesting to see if they produce a marine version and that any offshore racers take up the option to use them.

yes I sold it to a guy in Sweden (a mate of Frodes) not sure what he did with it
