TD, is this for yourself? If so, how about getting a nice chunk of honduras mahogany and carving it into graceful curves. You could finish it with casting resin with the addition of a drop of flexible resin to prevent it starring if it gets knock. Rub it down and polish it until it's gleaming. Bit more class than a moulding.
