Winter project

We've been busy in Devon with a little project for the local ferry - it's the Sea Tractor for the South Sands Ferry company and it saw sunlight for the first time yesterday, it's got a John Deere engine with 4WD all hydraulic. It has manual control over all 4 wheels to give the ultimate in traction control, they are 2 speed motors with built in brakes for safety. When finished it will have seating for up to 30 people who will board at the top of the beach, the tractor will trundle down and wade into the water where the ferry will dock with it, transfer the passengers and return with the arriving passengers to the top of the beach.

A short video on YouTube!
