Ebay Speed Boat

Looks pretty much like a Delta to me. Learned to waterski behind one when I was a nipper. As I recall they are only about 13` long, powered by 1500cc Ford.

Doh!

Got that wrong; Delta`s were aluminium. (it was over 40 yrs ago! thats my excuse)

Or fibreglass - but never wood. Looks like an Albatross from the stern but again they were ali only.

There is a post on the CMBA forum at the moment about the same boat & no one has positively identified it but there was an article in the CMBA magazine about what appears to be a similar boat. The article is reproduced in the thread on the forum. See HERE

Just in the process of buying a tin Delta project at the moment with a (non standard) Ford 1600 X flow waiting to be reassembled. They are a very pretty boat IMO but I am biased I suppose.
