This is the same boat that was featured in "Top Gear" and it has a set of 800 hp motors with Buzzi Drives. It should top out at 100 mph with the power to weight ratio of 2.6 kg/hp it should.

Jet pumps on a Military prototype? If so the log got lodged in the inlet housing and locked the pump up. No thrust no steering for the jets so they could be in trouble for handling if so.

I'm sure there used to be one of these being tested down on the Solent, running out of Portsmouth Naval base.
Looked very impressive.

One of these was in HYTHE Marina, on Southampton Water.
Thats probably the one seen in the area & at Portsmouth.
I think maybe Peter Dredge is involved in the company selling these Buzzi designed boats.

Built in Marchwood, the two pictured, are two seperate ones. there was a dark camy one and the metalic blue. Frequently at hythe marina and my Step dad lifts the engines in em . They seem to need new ones quite ALOT

So, what make are these often replaced engines then ?
Don't sound too attractive for forces use, if they need replacing that often !
