Torquay 25/26th May 2013

Happy New Year All

We would like to ask who may be interested in entering this event ??

All classes will be catered for ie...3B, 3C, V24, BCC3, 2, 1, U, Marathon, etc etc.

We will if teams would like make a 150hp class, for example.....P19/150 Evo, Bespoke P18/150 Evo, Cougar21/150 Honda, Marshan21/150 Merc etc etc, (and if this class is well supported then we as the Offshore Racing Drivers Association will lobby the RYA and try to get it set as "say BCC150").

If we have enough entries (with deposits) and teams / classes would like then we will set two days of racing, bearing in mind any restrictions imposed upon us.

Please post on here or e-mail any committee member with your interest in entering.

Many thanks for your time.

Regards... The Committee.

There is a 1500HO class that has been racing for sever years now... It's called UKFFORC E1500!

If you have a suitable hull and an Evinrude 150HO, then why not supprt this class? UKFFORK is NOT Kids Class anymore.

In the spirit of keeping racing alive why not get the E1500's to Torquay - I'm sure it would be the more the merrier?

I speak as an observer and have no control over anything!

PS We'll be racing in the Marathon class!

What about boats that are outside regular classes, could a "Basic" entry be allowed for twin set ups or cats!

Correct about monohulls Brian, however:

"Hull: Any standard production mono hull from the club approved list available on request measured as per PB1. Min boat length 18‟ (5.48M) max length 20‟ (6.09M) with a RYA Registration log book. No fuel/ballast tanks fitted in the bow area.
b. Engine: Evinrude E-Tec 150HP HO two stroke, standard shaft. (EPA/CARRB Compliant) No modifications permitted See UK18"

There are other monohulls than Phantoms (also different lengths) permitted, it's a one-engine class.

Thank You so far

neal_skyline - Thank you for your interest.

WhightStuff - Thank you also and good luck with the completion of your boat.

RHINO - Thank you for your kind words, we missed V24s of the example list sorry for that.

Gerbil112 - Please !! if you have a reference to a post by others on our thread then please use the PM system on here and try not to hijack a thread it does not help our plea !!! Also several examples of 150's were given. UKFFORC run a successful NATIONAL series, this is to generate interest in CLUB racing and give the race teams a CHOICE (should they not want to race in the UKFFORC series). We also did not make any reference to "kids class".

Cookee - We agree and would love to see UKFFORC boats at the event, and we look forward to seeing your team there.

topgun - The classes that can race are set out in PB1 2012 and the rules are also contained in the book, so for "CLUB" (as the RYA prefer us to say now) yes we would try to accommodate most boats.

scooby_hugh - Question answered.

still no worries - Your are a known racer of experience (albeit not raced for a couple of seasons) and we would look upon that favourable.

OCRDA - Thank you for responding on our behalf and the answers were spot on.

deepvee - We think pics are contained it the gallery section.

Regards....The Committee
