Er...thanks John!

Yes the race is going to happen, and we are doing a pit stop in Torquay again, and maybe a slightly longer course......

Watch the space......and yes I'll try and get the Fountain working too...

Anybody here who wants to lend a hand please stand up and be counted!

Thanks for all your hard work over the past years. I hope this race can be kept going as,it is one of the final real open ocean races in the world left.

If Warpath runs again next year, maybe I can make it over with Bob for the 2014 running......it has been on my bucket list for a long time.

It's only an airfare Charlie!

We even had a Yank on our organising committee this year - (Big bloke with a tash).

2014 Update

The BPRC are very pleased to announce following a meeting last week with Mayor of Torbay, Gordon Oliver that Torbay Council will be supporting the 2014 Cowes Classic.

The feedback from the Council, fans of the sport, locals and holiday makers was very positive for the 2013 Event.

In theory yes, but not when you are trying to run a business from home and it's the most in-demand time of year! Steve will just have to do it by himself, or close!

Safety Boats - CTC Race 2014

Can I once again ask anyone who has not yet confirmed their availability, to kindly advise if they can help in provision of safety boat/s for this years race ?
We have had quite a lot of support from many loyal boat owners who have helped out over many years, & to them must be given an enormous "Thank You" !
However, still more boats are needed, especially in the Solent, so if you have a boat of 20' +, capable of holding a position in most conditions that a race would be run in, & can be available on Sunday 31st August, please get in touch, initially via Boatmad ?
Many thanks indeed.

Martin, BPRC Safety Boat co-ordinator.
