I hope you're not suggesting a 16yr old on a Safety Boat? Sorry, not allowed. Minimum age for Safety Boat Crew is 18. Any age is allowed on a Mark Boat (or spectator boat).

Am I right that safety boats volunteer for the job, a 16 year old can have a job or ride a motorbike but can't go and watch a load of boats, that would be another safety boat they didn't have if that was me
