Safety Boats for 2014 CTC Race

We are slowly getting some extra safety volunteers for the CTC Race.....
But.....
We need more !!! Can you help please ?
RIBS & other boats from about 18/20' (6mtr) upwards will be needed for safety duties in the SOLENT area to enable the race to go ahead !!!
Please don't leave it "the the other guy" - he leaves it to you !
If we don't get enough safety cover, then the race, certainly in the Solent, is in jepardy !
Thanks to all who have agreed to help this year, but more boats needed - please contact Martin Napier, BPRC Safety Boat co-ordinator at:
martin.napier1@talktalk.net or ring home on 023 8178 6579.

Safety Boats - 2014

The Race Organisation is specifically looking for at least one boat to patrol off Portland/Weymouth during this years race on 31st August.
As the race has two legs, & a stop-over in Torquay, there is the chance, once racers have all passed westward, to come off-station for a couple of hours or so, have lunch & return in time to cover racers heading east again.
Please do get in touch if you have a suitable craft & can offer your services in the Portland area.
Many thanks.
Martin, Safety Boat Co-ordinator.

We have now found a volunteer for the Portland duty !
Thanks Bob for your suggestion however !
If anyone else wishes to volunteer for safety boat duties in either The Solent or in Tor Bay, please get in touch ASAP !
We do, however, seem to have sufficient boats, but if one or two drop out, some spare cover is always welcome !
Can I thank most sincerely, all who have yet again shown their support for this event - You are all HEROES !!!
