188 th st is close to adventura ,just along the us1.
188 does not end up at the us1 ,you can take the 186 th ,if you driving the us1 ,and go left .go right ,and you,re at 188 th
but everything is gone there, even TNT as 1 of the last.

It looks like the pic is off a few streets or so

Thanks for that. I was there a number of years ago and had heard it had all bitten the dust.

Looks like you are on the wrong side of the intracoastal. We drove to 188ST in Feb after the Miami show. There´s not even a plaque or something! Nothing to see but an unspectacular Formula dealer up the street. Americans can be soooo unromantic

This may be of interest to PJC, as I don't know when he was last over there. It's all feckin changed now!

These pics were taken in February this year.

West end of 188th (At least, the west end of the bit we are interested in)

And looking East toward the Ocean.

Shouldn't they re-name it Don Aronow Boulevard or something? After all he probably did more for the area then anyone else around there. Be a nice tribute me thinks.

That image must be a year or two old. Fort Apache has gone. Cig factory is still there, but the new Condo's that are now there, haven't even been started.

..

You can see here where Fort Apache was, Apache Performance boats, and right outside there is where Aronow was shot sitting in his Merc SL.

At least I think that is all correct, mebbe Pete could verify.

The wooded area next to Apache Performance boats is where I took the pics of all the discarded moulds & tooling, then next to that is the Cig plant. I think opposite the Cig plant was TNT rigging until about a year ago.

Really

I'm pretty certain the area marked Fort Apache is just that, and the area marked on this map shows the Cig plant, dead oposite the TNT shop.
Where's Pete Currington when you need him?
