Their not so intrested in torque,as their engine,s are high revving.
The higher the rpm,s the less torque the engine make(thats with every engine)
They measure rpm and torque only ,the programm(computer calculator) counts how many BHP the engine is making.
The dyno they use is not a accelerating type ,they give full throttle and load the engine ,as rpm will drop under full throttle they measure via a load cell how many torque the engine is pulling onto the waterbrake, and with rpm,s (engine rpm,s)they can calculate horsepower.
Newer style dyno,s can accelerate, you can give full throttle ,and the computer loads the engine from lets say 1000 rpm -9000 rpm in 30 seconds
and the calculation has been made.

Love one, but Comes down to practicality , I heard that the single rings are only good for 20 hours or so + there's not many of them over hear anyway, think Ill stick with what Iv got, or Until it go's pop one day!, though it would be nice to hear from someone who runs one on a regular basis.
