I dunno - I kind like it in a strange sorta way - I was in my teens though during the eightees so I guess that might have somethin to do with it!

Still even I would get rid of that strange spoiler . Looks like something an Essex boy Chav would add to his toy citroen to make it look more "sporty"

Certainly not - sorry chaos!! Didnt realise you were an essex lad yourself

Anyhow a R5GT turbs was a classy wagon, not like these modern wippersnappers rides!

You'd have thought it would go quite well with a pair of 360 mercs. I do have a soft spot for cougars it has to be said even though this particular cat aint the prettiest of things.

I made the fecker in our Miami yard on 188st, the hull was originally designed for Welcraft but they were scared to put it into production (something about cats would not sell) so we built it ourselves, quite a few where sold normally with Arneson or Kaama drives. Back in ye old days of 1982 it was quite radical looking. That model was made between 1982 and 84, we then made a new deck. The wings were made by a guy who made surf boards, I have the pictures somewhere of the prototype, it had a shuttering ply deck, Steve and myself rigged it in three days, a thing to be proud of it was not. Tony D has the last version which had yet another deck design sitting in his back garden, I think he uses it for growing moss on.

I believe the Baldwins (original Warlord owners) still have a Sport Cat 30 that they run from time to time, Complete with the lovely wing.
