OK, then it is not the one I was thinking of...

Also called Assagi, a three engined Joe Donohoo/Gordon Wright design, also class II aparently IRO 115mph. Was supposed to be M71 though.

Definately driven/owened by Dave Allenby, possibly still with him.

Any pictures, links etc?

The 3rd class II boat of Dave's, the triple EFI Donohoo/Hicks boat built in about '95 is still at Dave's house in Romsey. (same design as the ali 'On Line Racing' boat of Martin Mansbridge)

The second quad motor boat built by Joe & Paul Hicks, caught fire in the middle east while being raced by Geoff Purves, and burnt to the waterline/ended up against the rocks. tis no more.

Na, I last looked at it about a year ago, was looking very green & mouldy with plenty of moss growing on it. Not unlike the famous 'Garden Cat' of Tony Davis.

Is that Donna James in the foreground of the one of Clarke's C-1 cat?

Deffo 1990, Coz Debenhams can be seen in the Dave Allenby shot, and that wasn't around till '90.

Wink

Just seen a brilliant video from the Hull Grand Prix. It was either '89 or '90. Twas when UKOBA were tied in with the Princes Trust. On the Video was Debenhams (Race Nº 1), Mariner (Assagai Race Nº M-72). It was also the year that Mariner blew a hole in the transom next to the inner port engine. Also saw a bit of Del Bouy in the Argo, that is now French Phils, when the Helmpump came away with the dash!!!! Now I should remember when that was but a lot of murky water has passed under the Humber Bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you by chance sell your Revenger to a fella called Kevin Jackson? He's from the Staines, Middlesex area.
