what he should do is set the rev limiters to 3800 rpm , then he would have a power to weight ratio of about 150bhp per ton , then he could drive around all day tellin every one how reliable and economicle it was , keep quiet about how slow it was..........or fit diesels and have the same results plus a black transom !!

Very good, but you're missing the point of putting up with the smoke, I can go to Plymouth and back (from southampton) for 150 quid, you couldn't get out of Langstone harbour for that (even at 3800rpm)

BTW, Mines 216hp/ton

So, go get on wiv yer edd gaskets
