Love the OMC V-8!

Who can tell with the weather/conditions, that's racing!

Radio gear arrived today, just gotta see if Streako manages to change his RC frequency before boxing day, if it's looking unlikely, i'll be doing a rush-rig for the occasion.

PS. is that bingo a Bernico?

No, waiting for the 5" x 5mm prop shaft, and to see if streako gets his cat together, as he wants to play together with them as standard first.

That won't leave you much time to engineer that engine in there.

Don't you worry about that! we've rigged from scratch a complete, new 26' race boat in a weekend, this'll be a walk in the park

How much money has everyone spent so far cus I've spent nuffing (recently) but am feeling the urge to spends hundreds of pounds on something really fast

Trouble is my sensible head tells me to buy fast electric but for the price of the batteries, charger, speed controller, motor etc. I could buy a mega nitro engine that would be much quicker. But nitro engines are a real pain and the fuel eats plastic hulls so I dont know what to do

Yes, i've been worrying about that, but it's all just a bit of fun, so what the heck.

original boat was 50 quid with delivery, already had the IC motah, 40 quid for proportional RC, plus probably 30 quid or so for rudder, fuel tank, shaft and other odds n sods.......so far

If someone brings a decent row boat (not a crappy blow up dingy) I might be temted to go nitro other wise I'm sticking with my electric boat.
