Just mekkin a new version of that vid

Keeping it in a Dry Storage yard like Drivers Wharf costs about 35 Quid to Launch/Recover (round trip), so pretty good value really, this is plus the storage fees of course.

I know you weren't fishing, but it must cost a fair bit to host a site like this.

PM your address or Paypal & I'll happily make a contribution. (£10 sound fair?).

(I know I don't post much but I lurk a lot & lurkers cost bandwidth too. )

Jon

Just a thought
i have a reseller account with "Donhost" which has plenty of space / bandwidth available.. fast aswell

"Quota MB 20000
Used MB 1378.32 (6.89%)
Projected MB 7718.59 (38.59%)"

so if you want a "FREE" account ( with control panel etc ) to host all those great vids & pics that we have seen on here in the past and can no longer find just let me know....

perhaps a "Hall of Fame" or just an "archive" ...

Foolish and others, thanks for the offers, they're all really very kind and thoughtful, but I really wasn't looking for any funds, or contributions, and can't see any problems for the forseeable future.

As for server space, I did set up a new account with unlimited space recently, which is to host the main boatmad site, and all the large videos etc, that are currently living on the futurequest server along with the forum.

We've had a few problems with this new server, or to be more precise, with the process of directing the name servers to it, but when we get that sorted, there will be loads more videos hosted, and hopefully more of you guys can get some footage into the database for us all to see.

JF
