That’s starting to look quite good.
What have you used to clad the deck radius with? Looks like a good of getting some shape into it.

Thanks - should keep improving as it is filled and faired, radii added etc.

The deck edge has been created by using thin laminates in small sections, bonded / secured to frames. Then to be filled and faired.

Not cancelling

Pash unfortunately I cannot cancell the Sequel as I have to much money invested, given the option I would (anyone want to buy a Sequel?)

I have spoken with Adam already regarding one of these hull's and chances are that you will see me using one next year for ski racing.
I am going to ski behind the first full length version when complete and in the UK to assess it's usability for ski racing.

That will probably still be in front of the Sequel build!

At the moment we are looking at getting the first one built for mid October - although I think that is pretty tight - so maybe a week or two more.

They will get one on the water as soon as possible after that - and then start building a batch for K4+.

I'm planning on a trip out to the yard late September / early October.

It is but we only have to 'loose' about 200mm of running surface - which has been allowed for!

Thanks - really looking forward to it myself now. Going to be good to have a bit quicker boat for myself as well.

Pretty exciting times as the same builders are working on some other designs of mine. Also got Technohull in Greece building their new 888 - which is a triple step RIB design.

Hull mould is now finished and first hull to be made soon. We are using the SmartPac system from High Modulus - which basically produces a complete boat set materials.

Deck plug is now nearing completion too, as per photos. In background you can also see the hull plug for a 12m RIB hull.

A few extra plugs/ moulds for cockpit details and seats then to go.

First boat now in build - sprayed gel coat.

Laminate / build is using the SmartPAC system from High Modulus of New Zealand - with literally a boat pack of all materials being supplied, pre-cut and ready to go!

Soon to be a RIB version of this hull as well.

Smartpac system is working out well and should be really good for ensuring quality. Yard have taken to it well and looking at doing other boats in the range by this method.

Deck mould nearly ready to be taken-off. Constuction of decks again using Smartpac.

Also the builders have just received an order for the first RIB version of the Aquavite 23. Tooling now underway for this boat.

We are looking at a weight around the 440kg mark - I'm sure we can go lighter, but should be a good starting point.

progressing well - but a bit of a hold up on materials! However foams for inner structures arrive at the ayrd tomorrow - along with remainder of all amteraisl for boats 2 & 3.

laminating looks pretty tidy. making boats sets of internal mouldings - cockpit sides, centre dash, foot braces, seats etc.
