Watched the DVD at the weekend http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0972847/ and it was "okay" but not quite Panorama style investigative journalism.

Had a load of guys from the original investigation (Miami PD, DEA etc) as well as Don's mates and a phone "interview" from prison with Ben Kramer who was accused of his murder (and pleaded no contest so is effectively guilty).

Disappointing in that the story is focused on Don and the murder....and didn't make more of the story leading up to it in terms of the boats he designed, why they were so good, his innovations...whatever.

Also very light on original race footage.

Interesting fact: 15 or the 19 competitors in powerboat racing at the time were under indictment for drug smuggling!!!!

Lots of talking heads giving a series of opinions...fine as far as it goes. Could have been done better if it was made to appeal to the powerboat fan and the Don Aronow whodunnit with equal measure.

DVD available if you're interested! PM me.
