That gear casing was a right bast*** and it defo didnt have more chaos stamped on it. I think I looked at that years ago when it was for sale, more chaos was wriiten across the screen.
The gear casing i sold greg that you bought rob definitely had more chaos written on it! The guy i bought my B23 off Terry mills owned both of the "More Chaos" phantom's! He's still got the race overall's hanging in his caravan at the marina! The first one was quite seriously damaged (Hooked and hit part of the river mouth at littlehampton), repaired and then sold on! I believe it became "Challenger"! The second "More Chaos" was built from new for terry(I believe it was a real steve baker phantom but not sure) and was also raced and sold on because he bought the B23 i now own! The gearbox you had was off the second phantom rob!

Looking really good Rob!

That white cowl really suits the boat. I've never been a fan of white engines, but yours looks really 'factory' and original. Well done! (Still looking forward to getting my black one on though)

You're really lucky having the space to work on her. My marina won't let me do anything other than store the boat where it is. If I want to work on it I have to move it to the hardstanding at the side of the moorings and pay more for the privilege. Also means I have to leave it until the decent weather starts.

Instruments? I've got a nice Teleflex set I bought off some bloke on Boatmad I think...

Closer to home isn't really the issue to be honest dude, it's only 20 minutes' drive away.
I'm waiting until money and weather coincide so that I can book about a month's worth of storage on the 'working' side then pop down there on my days off and get everything sorted. It's only minor jobs, but I'd rather do the whole lot in one hit and be done with all the spannering.

The swans down there would make short work of that burger of yours too!

I have got several old steel wheels are home which have rotted and now leak on the welds! I plan to have the wheels stripped and powder coats white at some point in the future.

I left the house this morning with the intention of fitting my new shiney water outlets I got from Cyco this morning, what do you think the one thing I forgot was? .bang.
Anyway heres a pic of the lower cowl I fitted this morning. I also removed the poppet valve and found out that the thermostates had already been removed at some point.
Checked the compression and they were all between 138-142 PSI

Rob , litle warning !!
After rebuilding the transome , replacing al electrics and steering , today i had planed to go out with my 600XS but smelled fuel underneat the cover , took an inspection-lid out of the floor and found about 60Liter of fuel inside the hull
The aluminum tank had rotten tru at the botem from the outside inwords , because of the foam wich was underneat the tank , the foam must have been wet from the time i picked her up at Gav .
The result is that i had to take out the floor to remove the tank , damage about 900euro to get a new stainles-steel tank in and repair and repaint the complete floor ........
If i ever get the change to find the tosser Gav who build the boat i am goane rip his head of
Rob check the foam underneat your tank mate or you wil be next !

Looks like a big mess to me. Thats why I dont like built-in tanks. It it breaks you have to cut your boat apart.
