Today I finally got my reprint of the boat report in the Jan 1990 edition of YBW.
My favourite quote is:
"hulls do get up and plane fast. They do run level and smooth in choppy conditions, and as for cornering, the boats really ought to be fitted with seat belts, because the uninitiated can turn them so fast the passengers end up in a heap at the side if the boat. The 1900S in particular was quite fearsome, running around like a catamaran, but not unconrollably so, and providing you kept the power on, refusing to spin."

Whilst i'm sure it would be competitive in F200 with a 317hp OB, I don't think they'd let it run.
So he'd have to glue a 5 foot hooter on the bow to meet minimum length, and run in 4 litre.
Always a shame to have to explain a joke, but i'm starting to get used to it.
It was JOKE! nob

As i've told you many many many times before, I hardly ever drink. For example tonight; the hardest thing thats passed my lips is a small oriental rent boy.
The typo may have been somink to do with the fact i've got 2 pc's on the go, me dads new laptop & i'm chatting to me bruv whom i've not seen in a week!
and you pick me up on a missing 'o'.
now play nice!
