Busy on the cat!
Another winter of hard work - but if that is what it takes ...
Main changes are improving the transom arrangement and getting ready for going to a shorter shaft length engine.
Boat is in primer and top coat on the sponsons. Should be back on the trailer soon.

The tunnel and sponson sides look very rough, like raw CSM geled over. Is it or is it just the light in the pic?

Not at all, I'm just curious!
Did the boat come from a mold or is it one-off?

Thats because they are still in primer! The primer was rolled an will be flatted back before top coats go on. They will also be flatted back before being buffed up and made good.
The finish is actually very fair but where the paint is rolled and the light from the flash gives the poor effect.

Its back upright and onto its trailer - big relief and can get on with the rigging.
Also deciding if its time to change colour. As always hoping we would get some sponsorship and that would decide the colours - but we seem to have less than ever!

Deck / cockpit changes are mainly cosmetic - things like a flush grab rail being done etc.
Cockpit is in primer - should be ready for some top coats next week.
Looking forward to bolting it all back together!
