60mph average on a 2-way GPS reading. There will be more to come as the boat set-up & prop choice improves.
You CANNOT compare mine to a genuine (much lighter) Steve Baker built boat. For your information, Ice Cream Truck on this forum has a 1997 P21 with a 225 Mariner. That is throwing a 25" prop and will exceed 70mph

Capt - why can't you compare yours to a original P21??
Mine's a P21 from 98..
Btw, do you have Steve Baker's email? I would like to contact him regarding some setup issues with mine.. Heard he might be willing to help..

Lars, my boat IS from the original moulds. However. its got different structures, floor, tanks, trim & lay-up to an a original, & thus is heavier.
SB has retired, I'd happily give some part of my anatomy to have a chat with him meself, but it is what it is!
I'm sure most of the above has been said before

CC - I undrstand what you are saying..
all I wanted to ask steve was if the transom on the P21's could "handle" a 3.0 with a +10" of setback??

I suspect his answer would have been a recomendation of no setback. I'm not sure he was a big fan
