I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's definitely that, not yet, go and try it without the stats, or get newn's, but you can't be sure till you've run it.

Its ok Jon, i'm not simply assuming its ONLY that. However as you said, with starboard stat removed, garden hose on leg-pipe water was pissing out of the tell-tale @ pace.
Tomorrow, the slug will pick me up 2 x stats & an impeller. I'll be speakin to me local dealer to get ecu re-set and fingers crossed i'll try and have a cautious run come the weekend.

make sure the impeller goes into the housing in the right rotation. (rotate shaft clockwise from above whilst pushing housing down over rubber blades)

and for your info, Slug prefers it when i use babyoil for added glide!
