How could I resist showing off this - will have to return it the safe now!
Got to be the worst Trophy I have ever won for any event at any age of my life.
Apalling effort from Cowes organisers. Even worse the guys racing National Championships (3C nad V24) only got the same!

That really is insulting. They were a bit more generous in 95 when we won the "Sports Class/Basic" race.

Those "Newsboys" were fantastic little trophies. Have two from the old days but the wife keeps hiding them!

In short, cracker crap!!!
This is what myself and all the employees of my company got as a bonus from BP (US$9,000,000,000 profit last year) for all our hard work and effort on the Gunashli oil field development. Described by one of our Principle Electronic Engineers as, you guessed it, cracker crap!!!
