different
Just been sent this link by Steve Baker.
I know there's plenty of variations on the theme of this jet ski / jet pack thing, but I think this is the best video I've seen so far.

That was done on a secret film set in Nevada and get this.... The Clangers weren't real, they were actually actors.

That's quite an amazing video Jon thanks for sharing that.
Quite interesting that at about 4:48 the jet ski turns almost flat out around a marker buoy, probably with a 6 ft radius without hooking. If a hull can be designed for a jet ski that can do that, I wonder why it can't be scaled up to turn a circuit race boat like that.
If you look at other parts of the video of the hull seems to have some sort of stake or dagger fin bolted on the side. may be that gives it more grip in a turn but would also cause drag in a race boat.

I think the turn ability is as much down to the propulsion as the hull. Have you ever watched any JetSprinting? 450kg, 1300hp, and turns like you can't believe. A load of us had demo rides a few years ago, and the 0-70 performance is staggering, as are the G's in a turn, but of course jet drive is poor when it comes to top speed. the jetsprint mob rarely go over 70, its all about acceleration and turns. So probably why we don't see it in sports where top end on the straights is required.

I Shazam'd it and it came back with no results which I was quite surprised, usually Shazam finds anything. Then found the artist and Youtubed it again no results. I did think that may be it was Awolnation but its not. Good track though.

There is another one here which might interest you. They are using a water wall as a projection screen with lasers and high power projectors which gives a almost 3D hologram effect. The guy on the jet board has a light suite, looks pretty impressive when combined.
