I've found a lot of google-info, just don't know what's true and what's not.
There is the classic golf-ball comparison, that flies further than a similar smooth surface ball. The difference is that a golf ball spins and a boat hull (normally
) doesn't. There's also the difference between hydrodynamics and aerodynamics.
That being said, I think it's interesting, might work, but probaly not worth the money. Dimpled hulls are around for ages it seems. If it were that good, you would see this far more. You could probably achieve the same by the classic sanding of back part of the hull bottom to reduce drag... Just a opinion, not a fact !
