Excalibur hits the water

Finally gave the boat a little test last week. Ran well with the slight problem of a leaking fuel tank. Oh well, just a small matter removing half the interior, cutting out the cockpit sole and installing another one!

Please forgive the boring video but at least it shows the boat finally got wet.

70-71 @ 4800. Has a 5200 rpm chip in the MSD so it should top out in the upper seventies.

The tank was pretty nasty, bad seam at the back, badly pitted on the bottom and generally corroded. What's the world come to when a fuel tank only lasts a measly 28 years!
