Face like a wet weekend!
Rough as you like out in Portland harbour yesterday but I fancied it anyway.
As you can see I lost the skeg. It was a bit like doing a hand brake turn!

Funny enough I could hear the sea inside there! It ran loads better without the junkplate! 63.5mph in very rough conditions with the motor trimmed all the way in. I was getting 15-20 psi water pressure compared to 12psi with the junkplate. I removed the Oil Control module and replaced the temp sensors on the heads so I had no warning beeps off the loom this time out.
Hopefully I can getting some testing done on a better weekend.

Tit handled the rought stuff really well. It managed to stay level when jumping off the big waves. I used my solas scorpian prop again and I think 63.5 in the chop was well good! I dont think I hit anything at all as there was not a single scratch on my prop and how the skeg came away I really dont know. I just remember the boat taking a sharp left at around 50-60mph. How it never rolled over I dont know, just lucky I guess. After that I decided to head back and when we pulled the boat back out we saw the skeg was a goner.

Burty has removed his lifter too and he gained water pressure. I Think he had to do a mod somewhere as the water pressure was too high. He still scared the shit outa me at Burnham the other week though as he hooked it at the first corner thats without the jack plate too!

So very true, though to be honest, I don't think I ever had any.
