Formula Future finals in southampton

A few pics from the race the other weekend...

First up, these little sorcerors are absolutely amazing! Shame they were never allowed to race but it was awesome that they all signed off and went for a 'chase' around the bobbers anyway!

Our steed...

We (Paul E and I) were out in 'E12', A P19 with a 150HO for those who don't know the format.

Lovely boat, though not setup the way I would've done it if it were mine. Had a fantastic time in it, almost managed to corner it properly by the end of the weekend!!
Totally trashed the engine mounts (Sorry Dennis!!), but the boat got revenge by trashing our arses!! Those seats need padding!

R16...

A couple of mates (Pengelly and Hutchy) came with us to drive the P16 too, they had an awesome time once they'd lifted the engine an inch! Did well too with a 2nd on Sunday.
Reminded me of my old R16... Mainly when I was watching it chine walk!

Some of the others...

Loved the mint little P16, there was a grey 16 there too that went like sh*t off a shovel! Didn't get a pic of that though sadly.

Pits...

Dennis brought along what I can only describe as a mobile dry stack, along with a collection of RV's... Can't question his commitment!!

That's all folks... Like it or lump it, it was a great weekend! Thanks very much to everyone for making us so welcome, and particularly to Dennis for making it possible for us to experience the class, we'll be back!

You mean this one:

It's racing under a different number now, with Ben Pocknell and Tom Newman
