I think so yeah.

Geoff reckons there were some fairly important structural bits that appeared to be missing! (like the main spars)
After it's first, very succesfull race, it went on to have countless structural failures and at least a couple of sinkings.

Had a chat with Steve Baker tonight, he did supply Charles with a new P25 in '92.

I remember looking at it in Guernsey at the worlds in...'92 i think, back when Roger Trottman was looking after CB's boats, Charles came in from a race (under orange flag) with the motors literally hanging off the transom, with most of the motor mount bolts bent up or broken, and all the holes in the transom horribly elongated, a right fkkn mess!

Steve also said that one of the two 'Bluebird' 25's was a full Aramat boat, very light.

1981 was my first year of racing (Cruisers) and I remember watching those Class 111D boys and their Phantom 25's and being green with envy. I must have some pics of London & Manchester in Fowey somewhere as it was so stunning. The 111D Phantoms used to go past us as though we were standing still. Beautiful looking and great race boats and so quick.
