Goes like stink

Bad Ass acceleration from this 43' cat at the start of the Jacksonville poker run, it was on wrong props but still hit limiter at 170mph with it's twin 1200hp Chiefs hitting the limiter

They do everything with so much more style, either things are much cheaper out there or they are all a damn sight richer than us I guess the weather helps too

Don't know about the style part but things are generally cheaper here and yes, the weather helps.

I think it's different reasons - We don't have the environment. i.e. the weather, suitable places to use those types of boats, fuel prices etc, therefore the people with the money aren't interested - performance powerboats and the bigger faster classes of racing never took off here for those reasons IMHO of course!

Its not just boats, its everything they do in America. Hot Rodding is still huge in the U.S. We try to emulate it but dont seem to quite get there (Overhauling against Chop Shop lol, say no more) or its short lived. Legislation has a lot to do with killing everything over here. There is a lot more freedom to do things in the U.S. and People have a much more liberated attitude than the British, thats the impression i got in the 6 months i was there. Thats apart from this being rip off Britain and everyone being priced out the market.

Carl I think you're right - but I also think that the US is going to catch the UK up - the Fun Police seem to be cropping up all over to spoil everyone's day!
