Hmm, you sure that's Mallorca, looks a bit like weston super mare to me!

That is, without any doubt, the nicest diesel 26 ever!!!! I do like a bit of white and purple.

Thanks for the pics,

I love Mallorca, used to visit often untill we sold our business interests there three years ago.

The Mallorcan hospitality is excellent, great people. The new main north to south spine road was under construction when i was last there, hope it hasnt ruined the island by allowing the Magaluf lot access to the beautiful north.

Looks like you all had a fabulous time.

Jon.

Takes approx 2 days of travel , but that includes to sleeps on the ferrys , plymouth to santander on the overnight ferry, Santander to Barcelona in the car which takes about 8 solid hours of driving but on excellent roads , then the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Palma ,the last leg is a 45 min drive to Puerto Pollensa . It is a long trip and you do find yourself questioning why the hell did i do this but its a great experience and the boating over there is second to none , amazing.
Thank the lord for Sat Nav , i dont know if i would have liked the trip so much without it , especially when aproaching Barcelona !

Meglomaniac,

thanks for the pics. What kind of 'beaucrocracy' do you have to deal with to take the boat there?

ICC, proof of insurance, regristration fees etc?

TIA

Darren

I did the same trip, but unfortunately without a boat two year ago. Great place to go on holiday and the water and coves are awesome.

not too big a deal to take the boat abroad , Need a spanish translation of your insurance , which your insurance company should do for a small fee , The vessel needs to have an SSR , and you need your powerboat licence to be able to drive in spanish waters.Apart from that just the relevent insurance for your towing vehicle.

if you bare in mind that i travelled down in absolute peak season it cost around £3k to get there and back , the ferry crossing prices change a hell of a lot from week to week , if i had have gone in june it would have been £1k cheaper !!it cost around £150 in deisel for the car and around £120 in tolls.
