That's a great photo, shame we don't do thing like that in the UK. May be its just me but I just love the smell of kerosene burning in a jet engine and the sound is just awesome.

I have already built a gas turbine powered motorcycle and I seriously considered a gas turbine in my Cougar. But the only suitable power high compression engine is the Rolls Royce Alison engine used in the Bell Jet ranger. Although it has been done before they were lake boats and the Alison engine can be a bit fragile. 400bhp, 70kg, run on heating oil at 40p per litre would be great.

Hey ho, may be for the next project.
