Nah, all the Monzas were fitted with 454 Magnums, i say "all" but there were only two Revenger/Midas Monzas made plus one other that i dont know who made.

This is No:1, its recently been repainted from red to blue and had the upholstery changed to all white. I am currently arranging to have it Surveyed and hoping its in better condition than the other one thats currently for sale in the UK. The thing is its older than the other one so fingers crossed.

I love Monza's.

That's the one that rob (builds the ringcats) painted and trimmed for the owner about a year or so ago!

Tell me more Tony? Who is Rob and where did he re-trim and re-paint her?
Also, whats his work like?

I personally think that the upholstery needs re-doing.

Rob is a mate of mine who bought the cat moulds from me. He's been involved with boats etc for many years, and does excellent work, infact, he's probably the hardest worker I've ever met.

He painted and did work on a Monza in Spain a year or so ago, and got the boat re-upholstered for the owner. That's about all I know. He does post occasionally on this forum, so perhaps he'll pop up soon and tell you some more!

Patience, never be eager to buy or sell or it will cost you dear.

Hows things going with yourself? Have you found anything yet?

Thanks for asking and as a matter of fact I have. I don't want to say anything till I get me mitts on it (I'm superstitious that way). It's a Sunseeker Portofino 31. She's currently being transported through the floods from St Malo to Troon. I hope to scoot her across the north channel about the 2nd week in august. When I get her home I'll post some pics and also recommend the surveyor and the transport company, who have both been excellent so far. I'm even starting to get a little bit excited.

Look what's just been offered to me.

I only just missed this one a few months ago and its possibly up for grabs again.

People dont seem to keep em long, either its the 70 gallons an hour at full chat or the 7mph minimum speed at tickover which necessitates a lot of use of the gear shifters when coming into the marina.

Looks nice though. . . . . . .
