Occasionally we were blessed with a few underwater objects on an amazingly calm day

It was awesome, 5 boats flat out with big roosters across Torcross line.

Seeing the dolphins was out of this world, especially when there were about 18 to 20 in the school. They are rather large when they are buzzing youre boat.

Mental, and then all pulling up on the beach for snacks.

I felt like Id found a million.

As I was there I feel qualified to comment - as soon as we turned our noisy engines off the Porpoises / Dolphins buggered off and only returned after we started up again .......... maybe they like the smell or more likely the vibrations?

Start Bay looks great in the Dolphin shots, makes me look forward to our annual trip all the more. Always feel at home blatting about the bay or sitting outside the Cricket Inn at Beesands with a beer in my hand.
Mind you its not often that calm during the Summer.
We had 60MPH winds and horizontal rain some of the week last year.
Roll on August.

Yeh, I have found this as well when we've seen Dolphins/Porpoises in the Sound. As soon as you slow down or stop they clear off. I think they're only interested in showing how much faster they are than me!
