Is this for real??

Just received this by e-mail, is it for real or just a mock up, anyone heard of it?

2,000 HP Outboard Inflatable ...

Here's the latest drug runner toy from Europe...

This thing belts across the English channel 3 times

per week and was just a blur on the radar of the

British Coast Guard.

They were so astonished by the speed of the

unknown craft, they brought in a special high

speed helicopter to chase it. Drugs were found

on board. Of course, you'd have to be on

drugs to put the throttle down on this rig!

OLD - not new. And it was real.

The multiple engines are not for speed they are for reliability as the coast guard have a habit of shooting the engines to force a boat to stop.

This was doing the rounds about a year or so ago.

Did Mr Crompton not have a bit of hassle for building these?

Dont look suspicious or nofing sitting in the harbour does it!!

I think:
The photo was from Spain.
The boats were built in England.
Driven by 'unsavory persons'
There was a court case? or a prosecution of some type, but it failed, and the people got off.
