Hi All,
We are having a great time in Keywest, met some really nice people The weather has been very windy here although very hot so we decided to bring the jet ski by road, we have a very nice birth in the marina where a couple of manatee came and said hello.... Racing starts in about 25mins will post some shots later..

Hi Guys,
The triple engined boat in the first pictures has been converted to a pleasure boat it runs 3 x 1000 horsepower blower motors, it has air conditioning and even a bow thruster..... the owner says it is still good for 125mph! We didn't post yesterday because of the tragic loss of the Big Thunder crew... have to apologise for the quality of some of the pictures as they pass so close to our balcony it is very difficult to catch them in frame, of to the pits today to take stills and meet a few people.

I'm shocked to see what actually happened to the boat. I guess the future will see top fuel drag-boat style reinforced crew pods, a la Buzzi's creation on the Cesa 1882 catamaran. Such a tragic loss.

Hi all,
Spent the day in the pits on Thursday having a good look round... and i am surprised at the lack of finesse in most of the raceboat rigging, although the races tend to be only 30 minutes long a good many of the boats start of quickly and either retire or are running slowly by the end.... i would say that only about 50% of the field seem to be able to run a consistent fast pace, there are a huge number of poker run boats here and the quality of the rigging on those puts most of the raceboats to shame!!
